This is a highly agile, engineering-first environment where your technical voice is actually heard. Because their markets operate 24/7/365, they are establishing Sydney as their critical APAC operational hub. We are looking for an ambitious Market Operations Specialist to join as a founding member on the ground in Sydney.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a senior, hands-on role on the front line of our exchange. This is not a slow-moving, back-office administration job; you will operate as a true "Operations Engineer." You will have the trust and autonomy to manage live market risk and build the automated clearing infrastructure from scratch.

• Monitor live market health and act as the primary APAC escalation point.

• Manage daily trade clear, cash settlement, and margin.

• Build custom Python and SQL script to automate manual work.

• Resolve complex API and FIX connectivity issues with institutional clients.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in trade support, clearing, or market operations.

• Strong technical skills in SQL and Python for database query.

• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol and exchange structures.

• Confidence to make real-time risk calls in live markets.

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (no visa sponsor).
