Senior/Principal Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll work in a collaborative, agile team of engineers building high-performance software used by global clients. You'll take ownership of designing and implementing robust C# solutions, optimising performance, and improving cloud-based architecture. Expect an environment where code quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are non-negotiable.

• Design and build scalable .NET apps with clean, maintainable code
• Solve performance challenges in cloud and desktop environments
• Collaborate with engineers, testers and product owners across global teams
• Drive improvements in development standards, tooling and processes
• Engage in sprints, retros, code reviews and architecture discussions
• Help shape future-facing features in an evolving SaaS product suite
• Very occasional after hours on call.

 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years developing in modern C# and .NET
• Strong experience with Azure and DevOps pipelines
• Strong background with with OOP, SOLID, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit etc.)
• Ability to identify and fix performance/memory issues
• Comfortable with Git and working in collaborative codebases
• Bonus: exposure to Angular, WebAssembly, Kubernetes or SaaS
