We are looking for two C# developers who have a mindset to solve problems, who don't cut corners, and value looking for the intricate details as to why things work so they can figure out and understand how to make things just that little bit faster. Because in a game of milliseconds, every second counts.

We are partnering with a global trading business and looking at expanding their technology team; specifically a team that looks at building complex proprietary software applications that support the traders, allowing them to make the big bucks. 

Think about building web scraping/server technologies that are constantly deploying new services, analyzing logs, making scraping faster and building interfaces that are easily accessible.  

These applications include a combination of server-side systems and user interfaces. You will be involved in the analysis, design and development of C# applications in a Front Office trading environment. 

It's a full stack with a heavy focus on backend C# but also you'll get to tinker with other technologies React, typescript etc. It's also end-to-end - which means you will work closely with different business units, traders, researchers and closely to traders to gather requirements and solve problems.

Think building proprietary tools that analyse newsfeeds, data feeds, visualise reporting, trade monitoring and messaging to help support trading decisions.
 

Skills needed:

• You have experience developing web applications with C# and related technologies (.NET)
• Experince with design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, user-interface development with experience on both the client & server side
• Previous WPF experience is an advantage or working on other desktop applications
• Previous web scraping or web server application development experience would be awesome 
• Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript - react etc.
• Previous experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with other members of the team daily 
• A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline

This is a permanent full-time position paying a salary between $150,000 - $180,000 + super + bonus. The role is based in Barangaroo and it's based in the office.
